qoLyf Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of qolyf.com, which is run by John Reuben Catalan ("qoLyf", "we", "us"). By using qoLyf you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What qoLyf is

qoLyf is a free tool that explains SSS pension, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG benefits for Filipino private-sector employees. It works out estimates from what you enter and from publicly available rules.

  • Estimates only. These are not official amounts from SSS, PhilHealth, or Pag-IBIG. Always check with the agency.
  • Not advice. Nothing on qoLyf is financial, legal, tax, or medical advice.
  • Not an agency. qoLyf is not part of SSS, PhilHealth, or Pag-IBIG and is not endorsed by them.
  • We never hold your money, never connect to your bank, and never earn commissions.

2. Who can use qoLyf

You must be at least 18 years old. You don't need an account to use the calculators.

3. Accounts

Accounts are optional. You can sign in with an email one-time code or with Google. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Give accurate information. You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Community rules

Community is for sharing thoughts and achievements kindly. Treat people with dignity.

Don't post anything that:

  • harasses, threatens, or insults anyone, or attacks people for who they are
  • shares someone's personal information, or anyone's ID numbers, account numbers, or one-time codes, including your own
  • advertises, sells, asks for money, or promotes investment or lending schemes
  • pretends to be someone else, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, or qoLyf
  • is sexual, violent, illegal, or encourages illegal acts
  • is spam or posted by automated means

We may remove posts, comments, or reactions, and limit or close accounts, if we believe they break these rules or put others at risk. To report something, email privacy@qolyf.com with a link to it.

5. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give qoLyf a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store it and show it to other qoLyf users so we can run Community. This permission ends when you delete the post, except for copies kept briefly in backups (up to 30 days).

You're responsible for what you post. Other users can see it.

6. Using the site fairly

Don't try to break, overload, or get around the site's security. Don't scrape it or create accounts automatically. Don't copy the site's design or text wholesale. The qoLyf name, logo, design, and site text belong to John Reuben Catalan.

7. No warranty

qoLyf is provided "as is." Benefit rules change, and estimates can be out of date or wrong. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent Philippine law allows, qoLyf is not liable for any loss caused by decisions you make based on its estimates, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Ending use

You can stop using qoLyf at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your account, at any time, including if you break these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update this page and the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will tell signed-in users with a notice on the site and by email. If you keep using qoLyf after a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Disputes go to the courts of the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
